Just completed a 10 kilometer walk (something like 7 miles) in 1 hour and 18 minutes. I was jogging most of the way (stopped before the halfway mark) because I had 2 blisters on my "palms" of my feet and had a "burn" inbetween my thighs or whatever part of my upper leg, they were rubbing together. ouch!
So I ended up walking the rest of the way.
Now my feet hurt and insides of my legs hurt! Won't get much done today

Eh, do it often enough it won't happen anymore. Rubbing thigh thing sounds like you need to do it more, haha. How much do you weigh Steve? I just started working out again, hopefully I stick to it. Not much running for me, more lifting. Oh and its the "soles" of your feet.

    LOL soles/palms same thing!
I weigh 170-180, depending what I eat that week, and what I wear when I weigh myself.
Do it more often? I won't be doing 10km that often, but I will jog more often...famous last words :o

    ha ha h a ha

your just a little guy ha ha ha

    i am 280 and 6'2"

steve i get the leg rubbing this too, you can wear boxer briefs so there is cloth inbetween , but to me its worse I find it more anouing.

i use petro carbo on it

and it works great on the burn, gone the next day.

you could try rubing some vasilines where it rubs to cut the friction so you wont burn. and get some good fitting not loose shoe to prevent blisters

Hehe... I was like that. I am 5'11 and could barely reach 160 no matter what I did. Ever since my bike accident and leaving my job it has been all down hill. This happened back in september and now I am up to 180. All from sitting on my ass and doing nothing. I really need to try to get active again to lose some of this fat. Maybe this week I will get motivated enough to start jogging. Maybe

Your feet just need to get used to walking, good non-cotton socks help to. As far as the Chaffing, go buy a tube of A&D ointment and coat the areas that rub.

Ahhh, to be in shape again... Maybe one day I'll find some motivation to work out again, other than it's a nice feeling being able to run 3 miles in 15 minutes, and actually filling out a shirt with muscles :D

I wish Cheyenne had a 24 hour gym... having access to the one on the AF Base was a major plus to me getting in shape... at 1 AM... :D
