Man, I just got back from my friend's house that is working on my 92 Firebird for me. It blew the alternator over there, so he fixed that, did a tune-up, installed a set of Hooker Competition Headers, and did some hot rodder's tricks on it. We ran it around the block with open headers and it sounded sweet! It'll pull right up to 5 grand now and will smoke the tires with two people and a full tank of gas, even with 2.73 gears(it couldn't before!). It's going in today to get the y-pipe made for it and an exhaust cutout installed. Man, I can't wait to get it back! I'll post some picutres when it's done!

Yeah, man a gear swap is in dire need for me. Hopefully I will get one done when I finally piece together some cash.

The 75 Firebird is slow, don't have the time or cash to finish it up.

The 76 Trans Am is coming along nicely. We were over there working on it for about 2 hours tonight. The trunk is perfect, the floors have hardly any rust, and the body is rust free. It needs a new driver's quarter and maybe a door, but it is ok besides that. We don't know if it runs or not, but we tried. The battery wasn't giving enough to the starter to turn it since it has been sitting so long, but it was trying. The motor turned about a 1/2 turn, then the wires on the starter started sparking and we stopped trying. I'm gonna get out there on Friday and check the wires and fix them and try again. I hope this thing runs! At least the motor isn't locked!

My 75 has a Pontiac 350 in it - 27k original miles. It is only the 350 2bbl, but it will still thump a little.

My 76 has a 1977 code WA 400 block and crank, RV cam, ported 350 heads and a ported 350 intake(I'll be swapping the intake for a bigger 400 one he gave me), and 400 manifolds. He said it will thump a little too. Told me when I get it runnign to bring it by and do some donuts for him. Haha. We'll see this weekend. Haha.
