What do you guys think? I DID NOT draw the girl! An online friend originally drew the girl. Anyway, how talented you think I am when it comes to cutting and pasting pics? I personally think I stink at it.

    I'd have to agree ;)

The way I do it is zoom in on the edges and just remove the crap bit by bit all around the image. Takes forever... truthfully I usually give up before I get it done.

That's what I thought. Yeah, my mouse hand is too shaky to really photochop worth a damn. Guess this is going to be the first and last time I do this sort of thing.

Just need to be a little more patient, and eliminate all the white surrounding the figure! :p: Nice work though.:wink1:

You're saying I cut out whatever it is I'm wanting to paste into a separate frame, erase the white, then paste from there?

Magic Eraser works, i like the magic lasso as well....

not to put you down one bit, but just to show you it can be done and maybe you would like ot have one to work here is a picture kinda like what you were going for.

this took about 3 min to do since that was a simple backround with only one color. magic lasso it then cut and paste. i did some re-sizing as well.

Seventy4, what program you use to get that result? PhotoFiltre or GIMP? I've already saved it by the way, but could you maybe give me a link to a version of it without the 'CK5.com' in the corner?

    Thankies much!

I've just downloaded GIMP and I've decided to use it instead of PhotoFiltre from now on.

Here's the second photochop I've ever done:

This is what I started out with:

Was making myself a new ava for when I visit the anime forum The InuYasha Journey and Bonzo's my favorite Zep member, so I decided to use his symbol from the Zeppelin IV album. Not a bad crop job if I say so myself, but if course this was a lot simpler than what I tried with the white-haired, dog-eared girl and organ console pics.

I was mistaken. THIS is the first photochop I ever tried:

Of course, the above IS NOT THE ORIGINAL VERSION! The original version of this that I did no longer exists. I had results similar to what I tried at the start of this thread, and a member of another now-defunct InuYasha forum took pity on me and cleaned it up.

This idea from born from me writing an InuYasha/Legend of Zelda crossover fanfiction story that I'm still working on even today. If I ever develop the patience to learn to do this properly (not likely) I'd probably redo this with the rest of the protagonist InuYasha characters added in.
