DAMN, well time to get a brace. I do have a question though, does the ORD weld on kit wrap aroud to the bottom of the frame?
I do need to remove the stearing box correct? TIA

I believe that their kit is the same one that Four Wheel parts and everyone else sells. If it is the same, yes, it does wrap around the bottom of the frame - at least mine does, and I got mine from 4WP...and yes, you do need to remove the box.

It doesn't actually wrap around but it does come in 2(or 3, don't remember) pieces that will accomplish the same effect. Yes, you do need to remove the steering box.

hey, look into the ord bolt on brace that bolts all the way to the center of the cross member. its a pretty beefy brace. i had a welded one on my other 75. it was good put i put it on after it cracked. the welds held but it cracked again on the brace when i went wheeling one day. the ord bolt on one also bolt on to the back of the box so no removal is necessary. its been working great with my 39's. VERY easy installation also

The weld on kit comes in 2 pieces of 1/8 material.
One big huge piece for the side that goes behind the box and 1 smaller piece that goes on the bottom lip of the frame.
You will have to get longer bolts from your local bolt supply house. With the brace and the weld on kit, the supplied bolts aren't long enuff to secure the box.
