MY K5 IS SOON TO BE A 1TON......CAN\'T WAIT

Just about to give up on a 1ton axles. I just got a almost complete truck from a friend who got it in the from the navy. Everything on it is in good shape. 25,000 on it or at least that is what it the odometer. Can't wait to get this together. Does the spring perches need to be moved and is there any thing else to do to it?

    thanks mike

Spring perches and shock mounts are the only mods for the 1 ton to fit, I believe.....

im going through the same thing on my k15.
the rear perches need to be moved. and you gonna need new u-joints and possibly a raised steering block for over the driver side king pin (if you have a lift) not sure about th shok mounts. i moved em just cause the damn things hang down half a foot.
