It may be hot and dry everywhere else, but not in my old trailer.

I'm thinking I could put some lizards and other tropical creatures inside, and create a new habitat.

You can see the mess left by my cousin who thought my trailer was still inhabitable last year and left beer bottles an garbage all over.

im betting on a roof or sidewall leak. go over the whole thing and fill the holes with silicone or self leveling sealant of some sort, then go inside, gut the carpet, paint the floor with Kilz, and put new carbet in.

Someday I'll fix it. The roof leaks in one spot. Even though when I had two tarps over the trailer, and the tin roof, it still leaked. It's like theres a natural spring from the floor of thee trailer. ;)

They grew bigger and there are more of them. Two weeks ago I went in there and it looked like they were releasing mist into the air. I didn't hang around too long.

Ahhh... I still remember the day my friend's dad played the Billy Joel song "Allentown" up there. Since then, it just stuck.

When you go to rip the carpet out, wear a gas mask!!!

I know you have more important things to do and think about but I think I'd rectify that situation pronto.

I didn't know they made brown mushrooms. Yucko.

    Mushrooms huh??....hmmmmm!

Have you tried any of them?--they might be "magic" mushrooms! :D --but get someone you dont like to try them first,in case they are poisonous!(maybe the guy accusing you of cheating him on the NP205 deal? :p: )...that'll shut him up!.. :p: ...

I had a Rockwood motor home with shag carpet--a similar type of mushroom started taking it over after it sat nearly a year..I guess old trailers and motor homes make good terrariums!...makes me wonder whats growing in all the ones sitting in people's yards around here that havent moved in years..hmmm..  :rotfl:

its all in the leaks man. i find them in motorhomes all the time. pulled a shower unit out of one a few weeks back, and the entire cavity under the shower was chocked FULL of these things. removed the rotted areas of the subfloor, Kilz'd the good stuff, fixed the leak, retiled the floor, and its better than new.
