New fall away rest, shoots very smooth and clean. I had a PSE before. The factory is here is tucson. They have a bada$$ range and proshop.

neon? you mean the arrow flights? that dont matter for practice arrows.

a bow is a toy in a way, but instead of a nerf ball, it throws a 450gram broadpoint at 290fps.

    wanna go play catch? /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

290 FPS? I''d think it'd go faster than that

I have WAYYYY more respect for archery hunters than firearms hunters

Well, I guess It's like when they offer certain pistols in designer colours, or they ever sell a glock, works, looks goofy to some eyes, including mine

yea, paintball guns can shoot upwards of 400fps, and even higher if the paintballs are frozen and they usually dont even break the skin through clothes. 300+fps for a bow is screamin, but its all about the impact and the fact that an arrow weighs like 100 times more, and usually is pretty sharp. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

and yes, glocks look goofy. i'd still like one though. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

you need to use the same arrows practicing that you do for hunting

I suggest keeping the neon. You will be surprised how easy it is to lose sight of the arrow from the the time you climb out of the tree, until you get on the ground. Personally, I fletch my own and use 2 whites and one fluorescent orange.

Nice bow...I have 2 Hoyt's myself, an old Hoyt Heat (about 10 years old or so..bought used) and a newer Hoyt Vortec (got about 3 years ago)

i do use the same arrows, i glue neon green/white flights on the practice arrows, and white/brown on arrows that i hunt with, just a habbit. We ordered about 6 dozen of these carbon arrows from calellas so i have a few laying around.

i shoot same arrows, same grain tips, same flights, just different colors.

never had an issue with losing em really.
