Didn't get much of a warning today, but good thing I stayed home sick so I was able to get most of my stuff up as high as possible. Unfortunatly I don't think I got anywhere near enough pallets under my good parts in the portable garage :doah:

So far it looks like the house will stay dry, but everything in the shop is under a couple feet of water.

That totally sucks :( . It's been raining here non stop . "raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock" some would say . I was reading that 18 counties up in washington are under a state of emergency . I think maybe some of the ck5 bretheren up in washington WHO live on higher ground should help you store some of your stuff till the water receeds :wink1: . Is that a toyota corolla gts in your driveway ? those are good cars . Hope it makes it and you didn't loose to much in the garage . I'm glad I live on high ground . I put a 5 gallon bucket under the gutter down spout and the bucket filled up in under 5 minutes :eek1: . I guess this is going to go on till the middle of the week  .

The D60 is parked with the rest of the truck in a safe place... unfortunatley the 4 spd didn't get installed yet and is sitting at water level right now. Think its crested and started going down for now. So it should be good (water level below any entry point), but I have a rebuild kit for it already anyway.

Heard we are expecting another hard rain between 3-5am so it is going to be a long night.

Nope, unless you want one or two Toyota SR5's? :haha: Just got done putting a new head gasket on a black car just like the red one in the yard. Wasn't done yet though and still had the intake sitting loose. I'm just glad the front end was up on jack stands to keep it out of the water since I wasn't able to move the car.

I was wondering about your place when I saw Sultan on the news. Hopefully it won't get any worse for you. Unfortunately, those of us farther down river haven't seen the crest of it yet, they're calling for the worst of it at the Puyallup river sometime tomorrow afternoon. It's not looking good, I'm glad I live up a little higher.
