With some mowing and brush clearing it looks like that would be a nice piece of land. I bet that bike would fetch some coin to a collector, I would ebay it pronto.

    buried treasure..

Nice!...I'd be in my glory if I were you, being a fan of old VW bugs,Old GM trucks, and old stuff in general..and that John Deere is a score, looks like a model "L" or "LA"..nice small tractor that can still handle bigger jobs..I'd love to have that thing here!..A friend has one just like it,plus a model "320"with a wide axle,,and an "A" and "B" model ,that have the trycycle front end on them..those 2 cylinder motors WONT stall!..I swear they will run at 100 rpm!.

Sad thing is many houses like that here are sold after the owner passes,or goes in a nursing home..and the new owners hire someone to haul the stuff away in a dumpster,or call a "junker" to clean the place out..and a lot of the stuff goes directly to the scrapyard now, they dont even try posting it for sale in classifieds,etc..they only keep the stuff they know they can make a killing on,the rest is just more weight,at 105 bucks a ton now..:( --I'm glad you inherited it--you'll probably do more with it than anyone else would have..

i have enough stuff to build at least two complete vw bugs but i think i am going to keep one because i have a 2340 stroker motor sitting in the basement ready to be put in, my uncle told me he remembers when my grandfather built it and was told it was well over 100 horsepower. i think a baja project may be in the works after the k-5

the property all this chit sits on is a little over two acres but we also own about 15 acres up the street from here thats where the other two garages are. there are also two two car garages on the main property and thats where alll the engines are at, so far i have found at least 10 small blocks and 6 big blocks and also more than twenty vw bug motors
