Hey everyone. I've been gone for a while, mostly because I have been working 10am-9pm shifts most of the week and have been to tired to do anything on the computer. I did manage to get Carmax to buy my Monte Lemon back from me, so I was in the market for a new car and came up with a 92 Firebird! Only paid $4500 for it too! 84k original miles, original paint in excellent shape, t-tops, 305 TBI, AT, power everything, any fast as hell. I'm getting ready to put an open element air filter on it with a K&N filter and am pondering buying a rear axle with 3.55 gears, posi, and disc brakes. Man, I love this car! Here are some pictures, but they are poor quality. The red paint on the car is so bright that the digital camera only took fuzzy pictures of it.birdmansgarage.eboard.com and click on the 92 Firebird note.

be careful with that car... It took me under 3 days to get pulled over in mine.. and it was blue... Then about once a week after that i got pulled over for no reason except i drove a nice car/ performance car.......

oh yea.. forgot to say.. sweet looking bird... i love that body sytle with that front end.... Soon enough you will be looking for a bright red formula/TA wing for it... oh yea.. its easier to replace the rear hatch then to replace just the wing... but kinda costly also....

Thanks, fellas! I have been extremely careful driving this car. I set the cruise control on 5mph over and putter along. I know that I'll get pulled over one day in it, but I'll try and prolong that from happening! I just installed a Weiand 360 air filter housing on it and it looks SWEET! I'll try and take some pictures of it tomorrow.

Nice! That's always been one of my favorite body styles for a fire bird. You need to put some 16 or 17" wheels on it and upgrade the brakes and put some z-rated tires on.

Then, you'll have to race our IROC *grin*

It's been lovely, but I have to scream now.

Yeah, I kinda strayed away for a while. I was working long hours and by the time I got home I was too tired to do anything on the computer. I'm back now, though! The other Bird is coming along VERY slowly. I got a 400 for it from another CK5er, but it is sitting in my garage waiting for a rebuild. The current 350 runs ok, though. I put a 74 Formula hood on it, so it looks pretty sweet. I also found a bumper, valence, and header panel for $50 at a local yard! A friend of mine is going to pull it for me next week sometime. Once I have those on and the rear quarter finished up, then it is ready to roll! I'll try and take some pictures of the two together next time I'm over at my parents' house.

Muddin, I think I'll need a little more than Z-rated tires to take on the IROC, like maybe a little bottle in the back!
