    All,

I have had my Blazer (1984 6.2l) for three months now and love the thing. I have done one longish trip (South Coast of England to Ireland, around Ireland and back) of about 2000miles over a week, and the truck did it without a whimper. Cruising on the motorway at 75-80mph for six hours non-stop, bit of dirt track etc etc in Ireland, like I said, not a murmer. And mileage, for you gassers out there, was phenomenal. I drove 350miles to the ferry, and just over 1/2 a tank of diesel. This works out to about 27 miles to the gallon, UK gallons (4.5litres), or about 24mpg US. THe last time I did this trip, I was in a 2.8litre diesel Rocky, and the mileage was about 30mpgUK.

What can I say, great truck, carries my g/friend and three kids and all our stuff. What more can you want?

Glad to hear about your new truck. Sure would like to see some pictures of it. I bet you have those license plates with the big letters.

    Congratulations on your new blazer.
