Been toying with the idea of picking up a shotgun, ive passed up numerous 870s and 1100s prior to this one, but this was a pretty good deal so I jumped on it. Its Remington 870 Marine Magnum. It has a special finish on it that helps against rust and salt air. Made for boaters. It is in excellent shape. Picked it up for $200bux. They wholesale around $400 and can sell for up to $500-600 in some cases. Goin to get a side folder for it. Ive shot shotguns with pistol grip only and it sux. lol. anyways, thought id share. Make a good truck gun for sure.

Nice. Great buy on that too. I've got the little Mossberg persuader that's pretty similar and yeah, the pistol grip is brutal. They are making some nice collapsible stocks (just like an M4 stock) for these guns too, and Knoxx makes some great recoil reducing stocks that collapse or fold.

Only thing I don't dig is the mag extension, but whatever works. How old is it?

    Oooooo Nice one!

I got one just like it in gun metal, not water resistant but blasts a nice hole in anything. it's from Mossberg tho....

    Check out Cheaperthandirt.com

I've got a Persuader too, and am debating on a top folding stock. I love it.

Bought a Persuador. Went on a church outting where we were shooting clays... Everyone else has hunting shotguns. I pull that thing out and start poppin off clays left and right. As long as I got my shot off within the first few feet it was money. But one they got a little out there the pattern was so wide that I hit nothing.

I also have a little longer Mosberg with a combat stock and a pistol grip and I shot that for a while too. The stock has a recoil spring in it. I could shoot that thing ALL DAY LONG. As long I kept the stock in my shoulder it was like shooting a .22. No really. There was hardly any kick on that 12ga.

Oh and YES... it is a TOY... THAT KILLS!!!!!

Its not silly. I dont treat my firearms as toys. But they are considered BIG BOY TOYS, like sportscars, boats, etc. And trust me, im more than proficient in firearms.

As far as what ppl call my Blazer, it was more of an observation and conversation on here than anything.

I must be weird, I like the pistol grip shotguns. Great for home defense, but wouldn’t want too take it hunting.
