Well For now TWO Spairs... Don't want to but what'ya gona do? I have a few things to overlook but it seems to be ALL GOOD. I didn't realise how HEAVY these are. Took me about 2 hours to clean all of the grime off of it. Need to take it apart.
What should I look for once I get the outer hubs off? Do I realy need a new rear seal? My Dad is actually /forums/images/icons/smile.gifsmiles about it. Not real excited like me though...LOL I think it will be a father/son project.

I did the two spares thing for a couple of months until I found the D44 conversion parts. I put it on two jack stands first. Then drained out all the fluid. Take the axle shafts out and then the wheel bearing retaining nuts. That will let you take the hubs off. Closely check all the brake parts out. Might as well replace the brake shoes and turn the drums if they are close. Then pull the rear cover off and check all the teeth for proper wear on the ring gear and pinion. At this time if you want it welded up then it would be a good time for that. If you decide to do that then bring the spider gears over to me then I can weld them up for you. Next is to install the dang thing!!!!!!!!!!!!
