yeah, sounds like a good price for new. I paid $625 for my 34" gooseneck and $500 for my 18" car hauler.... both required some work though. Am prob gonna sell the gooseneck. Had a few people interested in it for $4000. I only have like $800 into it an like 20 hours labor or so.

are you planning on hauling a fullsize with that? the deck is also only 82" wide. it's a good looking trailer but it might not do what you need it to if you are gonna haul lifted trucks. deckovers are more money but not having to spend money and time to mod a brand new trailer is nice.

hell the hubs barrly clear my fenders on a dana 60 axle in my 82-83 fender trailer. and no wide tires also.

those chains look like crap on those big ramps. get bars thay hold the reamps much better. and that little socalled jack. only rated for 1200-1500 lbs. try jacking up trailer with 6-8k on it. i have a 10k jack on mine.

a friend of mine has a 20 foot with 4ft beaver 10k deckover that weighs 2800 lbs. thats not much more then the one you are buying. I understand the money thing, but you are going to spend money modifying this one. Just drive up here, Lanchester has them in stock.

you are gonna have alot of new friends as well as old friends coming out of the woodwork with that sweet trailer.

I had one for a while but i sold it cause it was never at my house. it was always being borrowed.

There was 2 happy days when i had my trailer, the day i bought it, and the day i sold it. :D

so i just broght it home after my 8 hour round trip to get it and about 100 bucks i gas....It was all worth it...this trailer is bada$$...the name of it is a down to earth trailer...brand new pulled great down the road with no load...with my old trailer i had to have the brake box turned all the way up just to tell the brakes were even working,i had to have theese turned all the way down just to keep them from locking up...definitly help because as we all know trying to stop a burb with 6 inch and 35s is hard enough let alone with a trailer...i went over a series of mountains the burb was slow like usuall but pulled about the same as my old 16 foot open 7000 lbs trailer...basically down to earth trailer i highly recomend for the buget minded...i will post pics up tomm...
