    it was $440 for the winch (brand new still in box) the reciver was $14 the multi-mount was $145 and $10 for the 2 4x4 postes we welded to the frame
    elkboy i will be at sand lake saturday with blazinor my dad will also be in that area elk hunting so i may get 2 use it to pull out an elk[​IMG]

    no poaching they got special tags and are only good in one certain area to help the land owners

    ya i wish i would have put in 4 one kinda it is a cow only tag and you also have to use a rifle and i like to archery hunt + i am after the big bulls in the rut in september

    Hey meat is meat and you can't eat the antlers......lol I will be pig hunting this weekend. My freezer is getting low.I missed a archery shot at a deer this year in CA. And I went to Id. and didn't get anything. I was waitng for the "big one" and passed up a lot of small bucks.And a couple of 4 pointers. I blee it this year. Hope he gets a big one........

    What area do you bowhunt in? I usally hunt saddle mtn or wilson. What area does you dad have tags for? If it's lower Nehalem, I might have some ideas for you.

    yes he is in the nehalem area he found a farmer that has close to 300 acers (the nehalem river runs right through it) and he gave them permision to hunt on his land. they have 4 tags and filled 2 of them last weekend. i hunt the upper clackamas river area up around bagby and the bull of the woods area. i got a very nice 4x4 last year on thanksgiving day that will be in the oregon record books 4 blacktail archery

    Nice Blacktail. Unfortunatly I seem to have to travel alot around the late hunts, I did not even get to go out on the late hunt last year. I did get to call in a nice bull in the early season with my ten year old son. This year I hope to spend a little more in town during season. You ever shoot any 3D shoots?

    no i have not done the 3-d shooting yet but would like to. i shoot a pro-line predator 65lb draw and 25and a half inch arrow with overdraw and energy cams
