They show up fine for me, and I love the first-gens. I haven't ever put the hard top back on mine again.

Hehe. I opened this up anticipating the things that the tires hang off of. Not a whole new to you truck.

So I looked at the wheels on the truck and thought well they're alright I guess then it dawned on me whole new truck not just the things the tires hang off of.

    Yup. Imma dork.

    Beautiful!

(Although I'm a little nervous of someday seeing a picture of the 9 [votes so far] nekkid brotherhood members in that K5.)

    sniff!..

Brings back memories of my 72 K5,and the 71 CST K5 I had years ago!--that looks very nice!--solid too!..wish I still had mine!..:(

Not sure if it would out-climb a 454SS,but I saw a farm girl in a 71 K5 from a junkyard with a lowly 307 two barrel motor OUT PULL all the home built, and a few "pro" built "Monster" trucks at a local fair a few years back!...low range,SM465 in granny low, motor taching 6000 rpm's!--she even got the front wheels off the ground several times!..made all the other trucks with stacks sticking out of the hood look silly!...she did a full pull, none of the others made it more than halfway!.:D

They dont make 'Em like that anymore..if they did,I'd buy one!..

My first K5 was a 72. Love that bodystyle. Looks like all you need is a lift, axle swap, and large tires.

youd probablybe better off just to drive that instead of getting another car and paying for it, the gas, and insurance:wink1:

unless you are making tons of money i dont think its worth it
