    that thing is awsome! I think im behind on the times, my headlamp for backpacking is still an LED /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

    They used to sell those on the tool truck. Check out the one Streem Light sells-7 LEDs, just ask your local MAC guy, it blows that 3 LED Petzl away.

    well shoot, mine is little one (backpacking you have to wieght a bit) but those things are awsome, i wish i could get a bigger one...

    I got a cheapy headlamp like 3 years ago in Idaho at Black Sheep. I think I paid all of $8 for it on clearance... but it works well enough for me!

    I had one of those when I used to stand guard duty. It makes for a good stick but its not even close to beeing as bright as a Stinger (uses one recharageable battery made up of 3 "sub C" cells.

    and the stingers are way better than regular mag lights.

    the duo has an led conversion kit in it though bumping it up to $100 /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
