well I started looking around a while back, my frinend who already owns the body shop I do alot of thing at, had a space come up this month,

im stoked, it 16 feet by 28 feet, has a cooler, lights on the cealing as well as the wall siding, great great lighting:bow: has a drain as well. 600 per month including electric. no deposit I just prepaid a few months rent and im way happy, also has to spaces in the lot for parking my extra truck etc, hell even a shower:wink1:

I will have a spot, in a commercial area, no neighbors to worry about, no one in a room above the garage who is sleeping in on a saterday to worry about, no theft issues and best of all its seperate from my casa..so easy to keep the toys away when I have more important or things with my business to consintrate on, and hell its a right off:D before I had to rent a home just to get a decent amount of space to work on stuff. and it located in scottsdale, which just happens to be where my customers are, so if i feel like wrenching and skipping traffic..

yay, now I can start working on the buggy again:woot:

considering all ther perks, no commitment of how long I stay as well as access to a paint booth, secure lot for cars, as well as other areas being just a 1/3 larger were 900 a month, worse area, 1 year lease

    works for my needs

Man , I would sign a lease . Month to month means anything can happen and you could be gone at the end of the month . A lease would be better , and CYOA :thumb:

$600.00 a month isn't bad at all for a shop of that size in a decent location. It's all about the location with commercial properties. Commercial properties on main drags in the city can be extreamly expencive. Heck, our shop for the lawn care company is in a not so good part of town up a ally and it's not cheap by any means. It's pretty big, but location, location, location is what it's all about with commercial properties.
