I can surely pick up girls with this ride.

And I can also pick up axles, and engines and transfer cases... all thanks to that home-made crane in the back.

I only bought the truck cause I wanted something to impress people with; my high dollar $275 investment. ;)

$250 is a steal, chicks in the city are paying $800+ every day for a ride that nice!

I don't think that's a completely homemade crane. I've seen a whole bunch of those critters runnin around that look a helluva lot like that one. Maybe it was a kit?

Well, everyone that knows me knows this about me: I don't buy anything that I can't get my money back out of. This truck, I figure is worth the $275 I paid for it. It runs and drives and is licensed through next June. I plan to use it as a "don't care if I break it or beat it up" work truck/hauling truck.

In my mental scheming, if I blow up the motor, I can part the rest out and get my money back. If I re-sell it, I can get my money back plus a profit. If something else on it renders it undrivable, I can get my $275 worth of parts back out of it for use on the Internationals that are a part of the Fleet.

For now, I'll drive and use the thing, saving wear and tear on the vehicles in the Fleet, and making me look Oh-So-Cool.

Ok, so yeah, I wanted the little crane dealie in the back. If I re-sell the truck, I'm keeping that at least and putting it on my '87 Utility bed truck.

I was half tempted to advertise the utility box for sale this weekend for $250 and see what happened. If someone bought the box (minus crane), I'd throw a regular bed I have off a '73 on it and have a $25 truck. :D

But I think I'll leave it be for now. I hate having as much as $275 wrapped up in a new vehicle (I'm cheap), but I should be selling some other rigs soon that will recover my money out for this truck.
