While changing U-joints a few weeks ago, I finally found the culprit of a rather annoying pop I've been hearing for years. It was my crossmember bushing. Well today I finally decided to swap it out. Here's what I found.

    Bushing
    Bushing 2

The metal around the bottom of the bushing had actually split in half. I had to remove the crossmember, grind the end of the center pin out, and then grind the top of the bolt off just to get the assembly off my crossmember. On top of that, I changed my oil. What a fun-filled hour I had today.

haha, that looks how mine was when I did the 205 swap. I need to get under there still and swap in a nice set of poly bushings. I'm running on some rubber bushings that weren't as old as mine at the time. I'm sure they are on their way out too.
