Took the boys out shooting Sunday. Man, is my shoulder sore! 20 rounds of 30/06/ 20 rounds of mixed 12 gauge, 200 rounds of .22, 30 rounds of .38, and 100 rounds of .45. I must be getting old and wimpy, but this new short barrel 30/06 needs a recoil pad. At least the 4X scope is dead on at 150 yards. The lineup: Mod 10 S&W .38, 1911A1 Springfield .45, Browning A5 12 gauge, Mfg 1952 in Belguim,Model of 1917 Eddystone Enfield, 30/06, and Romanian army training .22 bolt action. Sorry guys, no assault rifles, just don't see a need for one. I would like an FN-FAL for deer hunting though.

The only people who need gadawfuly large magazine capacity are people who don't hit where they aim

I just swapped out 35 rounds of 9mm and 11 rounds of .40 I usually carry for six rounds of .357 mag
