He started crawling today. I'm excited yet not excited. Now i gotta baby-proof the house. He will be 8 months old tomorrow and it seems like just yesterday he was born.

I almost thought my son would walk first. He pulls himself up to the table and couch and stands up with some support. He is going to be all over the place now.

Put your running shoes on now. Mine was all over the place and now she can run and open/close doors. It gets harder keeping up with them but it is awesome!

Pssssht!!! big deal, I just crawled upstairs to the computating device, with a glass of whiskey no less and I aint even wearin a diaper yet....:D

Nice dood, I stood my kid up and shoved him till he stopped falling down at 7 months, I now wish I'd never helped him to begin to walk or speak.
Cause now he staggers but never falls down and drools but will never shut up...:doah: ;)

My daughter just turned 7 months and she barely rolls over. Oh she is perfectly capable of doing it, she just doesn't most of the time. Oh well.

That's awesome, but like they said, get ready to start running. And Blazinzuk, when they are ready, they are ready.

I thought the same thing about mine. Then my wife scared me and said studies have shown that kids who walk first are not faster learners but quite the opposite and have to be taught to crawl later. So i sat down with her and explained the rules that she had to crawl first.:haha: Now she comes home every day just covered in what we will call dirt from the floors at daycare.

I know what youmean about the not wanting to. My daughter will not hold a bottle to drink from but will hold it to chew on. She won't drink from a sippy cup with the lid on either but she will drink from a regular cup.I guess she will just have to grow up and be somebody that at least tells people what to do. Dang (either lazy or spoiled) kid.:D

Seriously though, you are entering the best times of your life. Take pictures, lots of them. Before you know it, your little one will be bigger and telling you to leave him alone because he's busy. Unless he wants some cash. :doah:
