My son\'s 12 bolt is dead, anyone got a left over?

My son's luck runs about like mine (basically SOL). This K5 he bought finally got pulled around to put the Th400 and 205 in place. On the way (pulling it) the back right tire kept hanging like the brakes were locking or something. Jack it up, and I could feel the "spring" indicating it was likely in the carrier. Took a look, and sure enough the cross pin has wallowed out the carrier.

Never did figure out exactly why it binds hard though. You can hold it against the bind and it will not un-bind. But you can still turn the carrier/pinion/driver's axle with no problem. It's almost like the side gear is hanging on the thrust washer/carrier surface. Never seen anything like it...

Anyway, it's a 77 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. He really doesn't need anything heavier (yet) and his budget is tight (Burger King! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif ) so I thought I would see if any of you guys have one you've pulled out or parted out that you would let go for a good price.

Baring that, if any of you have or know of a 3/4 ton set he could get for a screaming deal, that is possible too. But not likely since it would mean he needed new wheels...

Hoping to find a complete axle. I usually run across them (when I'm not looking of course) cheaper than a setup for the gears...
