This is why I love Colorado, some pics of my Sunday family drive:

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday, total of about 4 hours drive time there and back.

I got some new tires and wheels on it (new to me at least) and some cosmetic work, but this was a family deal with the Mom-in-law, the kiddo, and the wife and was several hours on the road and over a pretty hearty pass. This is not the kind of trip I would take the '72 on, it would make it but I probably wouldn't due to the excessive bitching I would have had to endure.

Definitely not getting soft though Scott, I'm still sneaking every spare hour on weekends screwing around with the K5. And this actually turned out to be a good scouting trip for some high mountain pass trails for later this summer.

Looks great, we'll all have to meet up in the middle one of these weekends.

We were further east, just outside of Idaho Springs.

Colorado is pretty much the bomb... I found some nice short trails here in Wyoming on Monday, though... Didn't take the camera, but I have a lovely brown Jeep to prove it... :D
