My thoughts on Paradise Lost

    At least up to this point, I'm not far into it. Reading just isn't at the top of my list these days, not having music readily available.

    I love the story, even being one who is a strong disbeliever (let's save that for another time). I find it very straightforward, and grounded in thoughts and feelings of the common person.

    The imagery is the complex portion of the tale. I think a lot of it is something people in the middle ages could relate to, with the geography being a bit archaic, and related to events from that, and more ancient time periods.

    I'll keep chugging away at it!

    Thus far, I've found I can only read it in a quiet atmosphere, because it takes some time to thoroughly understand what's being said, and the conversations taking place. But yes, I think it is definitely worth the time.
