I went up to Kansas City with my family this weekend. It was the first one that we have taken that didn't involve my dad doing any work or any of us getting sick. We stayed in The Great Wolf Lodge. My brother and I had fun playing in the water park. They have hot tubs, tube slides, slides, and a big bucket above the jungle gym that dumps water every 10 minutes or so. Saturday we went to World's of Fun, and yesterday we walked around at Kansas Speedway to see what the trailers had for sale. My brother managed to score a free ticket to the race after we got back from walking over there and back. He was excited to go do that all on his own. We also walked over to Cabela's, that place is amazing. It has a couple of indoor statue scenes, and a fish tank full of huge fish. I think that Mitch would spend toooooo much money up there if he went. :haha:

That's my weekend in a nutshell.

I did not know that. Guess that isn't a road trip for us to take. ;)

I have a four day weekend the weekend that he gets home. Might have to talk him into going to World's of Fun with me or something. I don't know if he'll be up to doing much of anything once he gets back. We will definitly have to think about it though.

When I was in KC, we got free entry to World's of Fun. I had world's of... aw, **** it.

    The coasters were pretty sweet.

I hate heights so I don't ride coasters, but my mom managed to get me on the Mamba again. That thing is scary, but thankfully she didn't drag me on the Patriot. That is just one insane coaster.
