    Her truck needs a part that I have no more of. I need the end of a steering shaft that slips onto the splines of the steering box that the rag joint mounts to. The catch is, that it needs to be of the cast iron variety and have an outside diameter of approx 2-5/8" (the larger one that is approx 3-1/4" won't work--of course--because I have a few of those....). I *think* the shaft that I robbed the one used on my truck was out of a '73-'75ish Chevy truck (not positive though)
    I am posting this here in hopes that an AZ guy happens to have one to expedite the repair.

    I have a 73 GMC that I'm parting out, I'll check it tomorrow and get back to you.
