Ok, under my dash, below my radio basically, there's a knob...it'll turn a quarter turn back and forth, but that's it. I have no idea what it goes to. Any ideas?

It's your performance tuner knob. If you turn it to the right, you'll go faster. A very rare option! Just kidding:) I'd follow the wires and see where they lead. Let us know when you find out since you got me stumped.

Its a older option. It should be left in the center position. If you see a Bronco to your right, you turn it to the right and the Bronco will blow up, and if its on your left, turn it to the left.... You see where this is going...

Well its either an electrical switch of some sort used for god knows what by the previous owner and or possably an aftermarket choke cable that refers back to the prevoius owner install as it is not factory!

it's to scuttle the ship if you ever get it stuck, and there's nothing but f*rds to pull you out.
and a good captain ALWAYS goes down (with her ship).

try pulling it out instead of turning it side to side?

Seriously, have you tried turning it with the radio on? Sounds like a fader like the other's mentioned...

Yeah, the knob pulls out too. Anyway, I traced the thing to some wires that go to nowhere. I guess I'll never know what it went too........

When I bought my Blazer I had 3 really weird knobs kind of like that under my dash. After a little cleaning and stuff, I figured out the Blazer once had a snow plow and those were its controls. Any possibility of that? I think they look cool, so instead of taking them out and leaving a big hole in the dash, I just left 'em there.
