Napco used to build "factory" 4WD trucks, back when the truck makers only offered 2WD models. The new truck would get shipped to Napco, where the transfer case and front axle would be installed. Once the truck makers saw how much demand there was, they started designing and selling their own 4WD trucks. I think that Napco is still around and making heavy duty trucks, like 4WD concrete mixers.

If your axle is one of the early ones, then it's probably worth something to someone doing a restoration or that needs spare parts. It's a very old axle, with much weaker metallurgy than is in use today. Combine that with the difficulty of finding parts for one and it isn't too useful to a hardcore wheeler. But someone that is restoring an old truck may give ya some cash for it. /forums/images/icons/cool.gif
