    I need some advice I have a 1978 GMC Stepside shortbed, and I want to run 38.5's will a 6inch suspension and a 3inch body lift be enough or will I have to go higher? Thanks for the help.

    i think you'll have enuff, not totally sure cuz i'm not that big yet. 9" total lift and 38"s..... should be good, if not cut your fenders./forums/images/icons/smile.gif/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

    Yes you will have room. I used to have a 86 Chevy shortbed with a 6" lift and a 3" body lift. The tires fit great and it looks bad ass!
