need cadillac help

    im going to pick up some cadillac calipers and they are an hour away. where on the car can i definatley id it as a 76-78 is ther e aplate??? and also how are they calipers mounted?? do they have allens or bolts for the banjos? no luck so any other ideas? what was the 79 someone said would work. i cant find the post.

    Alot of times you can find out year threw the stickers and stuff on the drivers door and door support (this applies to our trucks but I don't know about caddy's) also you can sometimes tell years threw numbers cast into the tailight housings. Usually they have the year on the taillights but this my not apply all the time.

    The calipers are mounted with allan bolts just like our rigs.

    Your looking for rotors that are 1.25" thick if I remember my Cadillac swap specs right. The later ones (79-85+) are less than 1" thick.

    And of course the mounting pins are located 7" apart from one another.

    well i went and he had an eldorado but it was an 84 so I didnt get it. it just looked too small. i figured it wouldnt work or everyone wouldnt always be looking for 76 - 78? any other ideas??
