Anyone have side panels on a first gen I could hook up with and get a pattern off of? I bought aluminum sheets, but haven't quite figured out how to get the fenderweld drawn on them so I could cut them out.
If anyone has a good idea how to do this, or someone not too far from Modesto has some to trace, I would really appriciate it.

get a bunch of card board and piece then together so that you have a template of what you want to cut then transfer it to the alum. sheet.Thats how I made my speaker panels. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Are you talking about the woodgrain side strips like on a CST? If so I've still got mine on my 70 K5 CST /forums/images/icons/cool.gif

when i made mine for my truck i made a pattern out of paper. if you are going to be at blazerfest maybe i could steal it back from my brother (he borrowed it for his) and lend it to you up there. when your done we could just meet somewhere in the middle (of lodi and modesto) to return it. if your not going to be at blazerfest send me a p.m. and maybe i could drive down there one day so you could use it. let me know if you want to use it and when.

I broke down and got some paper and tape, and made some patterns, got the aluminum marked, now just gotta find a jig saw. Everybody cross there fingers... This may get ugly. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
