Hey everyone, just got off the phone with my local Chevy dealer. The tailpan the parts guy found for me is $600, and consists only of a small section at the very end of the bed.

There was a post up here pretty recently by someone that found a tailpan for around $300-400. I'm pretty sure they listed a part number too, but I can't find the post. Anybody remember this or know this part number?

Thanks. That's probably what I'll end up getting.

I want to get the GM part number too, so I can see if this guy had the right part.

BTW, your signature had me on the floor laughing yesterday in the middle of the workday!

Try the GM part number, when you get it, at gmpartsdirect.com. Go all the way through, so you can check shipping which usually pretty high. They still have typically MUCH lower prices, even with shipping, than any dealer will let you have
