Ok so I am trying to pull the rear yoke of my t-case (np203 w/part time) and I put this giant freakin wrench on the nut, give it a clean yank and I hear a pop. The marks I made on the case and yokes are misaligned now and there seems to be a fair amount of play in it about a 1/4 inch either way.
    1. What the hell happened?
    2. Is there a trick to pulling that yoke?

    HELP!!

    Jeff

I don't know what you did to it, but I usually use a big pipe wrench to hold the yoke. Put a long cheater pipe on the handle of the pipe wrench, and let it rest on the ground.

ok so I am gonna try an impact wrench in the morning (had to borrow it from a buddy along with a compressor). I tried to hold the yoke in place with a chunk of wood and only managed to start lifting the t-case! Someone has to have a trick up their sleeve...
