Penny pinching time folks! After going out last weekend and trashing pretty much every piece of my drive train minus the motor, front drive shaft and the xfer cases... I need to get my TH400 internals moved over into a new case which I just fell into today for **FREE**!

I am really looking to get the 400 redone for a good price, but I don't want to lack in quality (IE: I don't want to deal with it failing on me, as one might assume!). /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif If anyone out there can do this job, or knows someone that can POST UP!

    Thanks,
    -Dan

You do know how cheap a decent 400 rebuild is from a reputable shop? Last I heard maybe 200-300. You should be able to get that for those axles you got. Dont know if I would trust the guts from the broken 400 you got now.

My guy will do it for $375. He did the one in my tow rig and it seems to be holding up fine. I've got a few thousand miles on the rebuild including pulling my mom's 5er without issues.

Let me know if you're interested in the TH400 I've got for the internals, it will need to be rebuilt. Sorry I didn't get the pics and measurements to you sooner, but good news on the free case. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I will try and get measurements/pictures tonight (I know I said that Friday, but I ended up changing out the water pump on my 98 Friday night and saturday, then working on remodeling the house, and went wheeling at the Badlands on Monday). We'll see if it is what you want them talk money.
