i know this might sound dumb to most of you but i cant figure out how to get the carrier out of my 14bff. i pulled the axel shafts out, to out the pinion gear and removed the brackets that hold the carrier in. do i have to do something to the bearings? thanx in advance for any info you can offer. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Those round things with holes in them on each side of the carrier..turn them out away from the carrier they hold the position of the carrier. Make sure you mark where they were and how much you turned them.
