Are the front doors off a second generation crew cab the same as the doors on a standard cab?

More specifically, will a pair of front doors off a 79 crew cab fit my 87 standard cab?

    Thanks,

    Eric M.

Yep, the front doors are standard across pickups, K5's and Suburbans of the same body style. The back doors from a crew cab will also interchange with the back doors from a Suburban of the same body style. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif GM is the master of using parts for more than a single application. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

There were however several changes in the vent window over the years. If you have complete doors it is no problem, but if you need to reuse your vent window assemblies then you need to check years first.
