I put on some new 73-80 fenders on my truck and I want to buy new fender emblems for them.
But I like the look of the 81-87 Silverado emblems better. Does anyone know if they attach the same?
If you have an 81-87 fender lying around (or on your truck) with no emblem, can you please measure the distance between the two holes???

I have pair of rusted fenders.Another one had holes filled, but other had them. It's 198mm,(7.8in.).I'm not sure is that a correct way to inform inches,I have computer program that gave that inch reading.Hope this helps.

    7.8 would be just over 7 3/4 inches. 3/4 being .75.

I removed one of mine to replace the fender. When I removed I broke the tabs on the emblem so I just siliconed it back on. It's been 5 yrs and its never come off. Just a thought. Those things are expensive!!!!
