Need help with ring gear ID

    OK here is the info
    mid 80's 10bolt rear ring gear
    GM 1235124-15-41-8-83 36 teeth if I counted correctly
    I know its only half the equasion but what ratio is it? My money is on 3:08's but i'm not sure

    Yep, the 15-41 is the ratio, which is 2.73.
    The 8-83 is the date and year, which is August of 1983.

    WOW thats kinda a steep gear....how come SO steep? These were out of a 84 K10 with a 700r4... Fuel economy on the highway(in the flats of course) must have been so good the gas tank filles its self!
