I'm having trouble getting the ubolts to fit in the spring plate. The ubolts are a little bit wider than the holes and I can't hold everything in place and squeze the ubolts together to make them go. Any helpful hints on how to make it easier?

I used a C-clamp to pinch the obnoxious things together.

Scary thing is I just put a used lift on and they didn't fit, but today when I did the add-a-leaf they fit perfect. Must have bent over the week, but first I had to use the C-clamp.

Displacement, cubes, and did you say you drive a riceburner???

I've done th C-Clamp trick before and it works, but I had another person helping me.

Another technique that works, is to put the nuts on the ends of the U-bolt, and then put the U-Bolt in a vise and crank it down just enough to bend it a little. Use the nuts on the ends so you don't flatten the threads on the bolts.
I did it this way when I bolted my D44 in because I was by myself and couldn't hold everything, including the C-Clamp, by myself.

I easiest way I have done this was to use large channel lock pliers. Just have a buddy squeeze the ends together and then just slide the plate over the top.
