I was wondering if anyone with interior panels on thier bed could make me a paper template of one of the panels. I would be happy to pay you for any material and shipping costs. Thanks a bunch

Good timing! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I saw this post a while back and remembered it as I was taking out my panels last night. I'm going to make a tracing of the panels so I can fabricate some new ones, cover them in carpet and put on some brackets, etc for holding stuff. I'll try to make some extra traces of the panels when I get a chance, but give me some time (say a week or two???) as I have other priorities right now (leaky tran, wheel bearings). Will probably go to Home Depot and get a roll of that brown paper for tracing purposes.

Hi. Yep, I'm still planning on doing the tracings. My tranny problems have kept me busy...sorry for the delay. I was looking at the panels last night actually... what kind of bit do you need in order to take off the seatbelt housing? It looks like a giant hex head but I'm not sure. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I made mine using .080 aluminum checkerplate, looks

Cost me 130cdn for the sheet, about 90usd. Made a cardboard template and just took my time with it and it fits perfect.

Sorry, dont have any pics. Gotta make awood backing now to fit 6x9's.

Do you have any cardboard scraps....? It would be EASY to just make your own templates with a few cardboard pieces. Get the basic shapes made, them tape 'em together to form the complete shape.

I made mine that way and it took all of about 10 minutes.....once you make the first one, flip it over and you have the template for the other side.
