Here's the deal. I've got a few remains of an '88 Blazer that has a VERY nice, rust-free frame. Jeremiah (jjlaughner) has a K5 with a VERY rusted frame. I'm willing to donate my frame to the cause rather than haul it to the junkyard, but he can't afford shipping on something that large at this time. Is there anyone out there that might be able to get the frame from here to there? I was thinking perhaps any mid-westerners that might be trailering their rig to Blazer Bash might have room for the frame under their rig on the return trip. So how about it? Anyone have some extra room?

    Rats! Curses! da#$!!!! Once again, i think we're a week late, and 2 bucks short! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Those pesky IH Binder folks just had their Rocky Mountain IH Rendezvous in Salida. Normally there's one or two of 'em who haul a trailer load of Binder stuff out to sell, or back to add to their stash. Such as SuperScoutSpecialist owner, John Glancy, who makes the run from Ohio to Colo & back.
You might want to try one of their forums (Binder Forum) to see if anyone is heading back late (but of course, if they're there already, they may not have internet access??)
I'd still try the forum, as there may be someone from Colo headed to Ohio for the Nationals in Springfield September 5 - 7.
They too are active in the war against IRON MOTHS!
Heck, I'm still a Binder nut as well as a Suburban owner. They can't ALL be bad!

My trip has been postponed to Aug 22- Sept 1. My trailer is full of 4 truck cabs and many other misc. parts stuffed into the cabs but I may be able to fit a frame standing on its side along the cabs... The cabs are approx. 7ft wide and my trailer is 8ft wide so there is a little room.

I will be going thru on I-80... Could possibly meet you in Cheyenne, WY if you could haul it up that far? Maybe talk a couple of Cheyenne, WY members into helping lift it off your trailer onto mine?

Going thru your pics kind of reminds me why I moved away from Minnesota /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I had a 1985 GMC Suburban that was 10 times worse than that blazer if you can imagine that. Only thing that was solid on it was the frame though...

Hmm, I'll have to see if I can make that trip or not. Do you have a tentative schedule yet?

I am working on the schedule now but looks like I will be leaving home on Friday, Aug 22. That should put me in WY late that night and over by Cheyenne Saturday morning...

As I recall, Capman2K lives in Cheyenne. I sent him a PM to see if it would be possible for me to deliver the frame there at an earlier date, then Kenny could hook up with him when he reaches Cheyenne. I don't really want to be hanging out in Cheyenne waiting all day if Kenny ends up running late for some reason. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I sent HarryH3 a PM back... I kinda live at my parents house, so I'll ask them when I find out from Harry how long it'll need to be here... if they agree, no problem...

Another Cheyenne member is MOABDADC22... Otherwise I can't think of anyone else here in town that could do it...

I just replied back to ya. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Kenny is planning to pass though there on August 23rd, so depending on when I could get the frame up there, we're probably looking at 2-3 weeks of looking at it in the back yard. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
