I have an HP Pavilion N5270. Every once in a while lately my right and left arrows quit working and also my insert, delete, home, end, pgup, pgdwn keys. The problem comes and goes almost like they work when they want to...

I checked on HP's site and haven't come up with any good info that helps.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I would say HW - SW is more consistent. Maybe the keyboard connection coming loose?

My experience is mostly with Dell and IBM laptops, but you may want to make sure all the screws for the case are tight. I've experienced similar symptoms in both brands due to loose hardware /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
