Recently when helping my dad swap out blocks in favor of springs in his 90 ford ranger w/ a 6 inch lift I was amazed at how long the rear shocks were. My blazer has a 6 inch lift and the rear shocks on his ranger (skyjacker components) were at least 8 inches longer than my blazer ones at full extension. I was checking because I thought I would use his old shocks (too stiff for him) which were Rancho RS7000's, yes 7000. They are old, but had hardly been used. Guess I just need like a 12 inch lift to use them /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I guess I was trying to say that I am really surprised that a little ford ranger would have way longer shocks than a full size chevy. Thats all /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
