I am waiting to hear from a guy at Neurocs to see if I can compete in the Modified Stock class. I pass everything except for the overall width limit. For their rules, it says: "No overall axle width, including tires and wheels may exceed 80”(outside of tire to outside of tire). "

???? Does anyone have a lifted Blazer with 35's that fits in that category? I think that is a little narrow! Mine is around 84"-86"....

On stock steelies my front used to be 79" with 35x12.5's. On the 8 lug 15's and 36" TSL's its about 85" overall width.

Even if you went to a narrower rim with more backspace and snuck in under the rule you'd take some mondo damage up front cuz the tires wouldn't be protecting the body at all...

Yup...I know what you mean. IIRC Rock Crawl out here has the same rules but it's 76" I think. That is because the narrowest part of the competition is 76" between two big old trees...what ya gonna do?

What do they do for the Pro Mod and open type classes? ALl classes are limited to 76 inches? Holy Jebus!

The PRo Mod and Open class does not have width restrictions. I have a friend that will let me use his 38's to run the Pro Mod class, but I think I will get smoked....

I'd run the 38's and run the Pro-Mod class...the alternative is stock 15x7's with 35's and prolly do even worse.

I can understand why they do that...it keeps the Jeeps with fullsize axles out of the stock class (at your expense though)

With an 8-lug 10-bolt, 15x10 steel wheels with 4.25" BS, and 35x12.50s is about 86" wide.

I'm 86" outside with the 42's on 16.5x9.75 rims. Sounds like you don't get to run how you want. I ran into a few cones up in Kremmling that we hit with both front tires. Supposed to be 9' apart. They told us to pick one if we didn't want points for both. Not an mood enhancing situation.
