I got mine from a "over the road" parts store. They are lit, but you can get them in all sorts of configurations: lights, colors, multipole, etc. They also snap together with a special bezel so you can extend at any time with more switches, and all you have to do is cut a bigger hole for the extended bezel. They are each rated for something like 20 amps too. Seems like they were around $20 for 3 single pole switches with amber lights and the 3 interlocking bezels. That's one left, one right, and one center, just buy more center bezels to add more switches...

As you can see in the pic, Pam has those switches mounted in a safe location. You would not want to install switches like that in or under the dash. In an accident switches like that would make swiss cheese out of your knees. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif As someone who has had major knee surgery, I can assure you that it is NOT something you ever want to experience. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Console is a Tuffy. I got some aluminum angle, drilled it for switches and mounting, got the switches at Autozone. Built a fuse panel inside the truck for relays and fuses for aux lights (and 2 power outlets). The switch wiring runs from that fuse box to the switch panel you see here.

The 3 odd switches at the far end are ON-OFF-ON for rear (backup), driving and fog lights. I wanted to be able to run those independent of the headlights if the need arose. I couldn't find that config in the design of the other switches.

The rest of the switches handle in order: left front outer top and side lights, right top left front and side lights, top 2 inner front facing lights, rock lights, 2 power outlets.

My switch panel located inside my ashtray that is still able to open and close and has lighting. I have 6 functioning switches with 2 lighters with full time power. The panel was in there when I got the truck but my friend (the previous owner) is the one who did it and did a great job. Its nice having it there because just close the ashtray when you don't want to see them or hide your accessories when you park.
