OK I have a 91 Suburban and this is what happens. Front windows both work fine. The rear windows will only roll up and only work from the swithc on that door. They will not work from the switch on the drivers door. I can jump out the wires on the door switches and the windows will roll down so I know the motors are OK. Anyone have a magic solution before I take everything apart?
    Thanks

Bypass the suspected switch that doesn't work and if the window works find, replace the switch.

Or you can try fixing the switch. (if its the problem, which it sounds like..either that or the wires are cut or damaged somewhere)

The switches are harder to get apart than they are to fix : ) Just simple contacts. If the switch is *broken* repalce it, but thats pretty obvious, usually the connecting pins on the back break off.
