no I wish, steven has a set of rs9000's ?( the adjuster ones) that he's not using cause the last guy had 4 on the front, so I'm just wondering if they will fit, when the time is right

I have a 4" shackle flip with stock springs (with end pads and greasable bushings). I have rancho shocks on it that came with the truck when I bought it...so I guess they are whatever length that rancho recomneds. So far I haven't had (or haven't noticed) them running out of travel. They are in the stock location.

    Les,

You can get really close by measuring the static shock length (eye to eye) as the truck is parked.

Once you have that number, you can compare it to the specs for Rancho or whoever to find a shock that's closest. Just take the EXTENDED length spec and add the COMPRESSED length spec and divide by 2. That will give you the eye-to-eye measurement with exactly half of the piston showing.

I actually created a table from the Rancho website with ALL of their shocks "sorted" by this centered measurement, so all I'd have to do is take a measurement off my truck and look for the closest match in the table....EASY!

If you send me your measurements, I can cross-reference them against my table and tell you what the best choices are.

Well I don't have it lifted yet, just a case of a guy here has those rs 9000's or whatever and if they where what I was going to need then I'd make a deal and go ahead and get them. But can't really measure until I get it lifted which entails more stuff that hasn't happened yet
