I want to put headers on my truck. I want to go with shorties that directly replace the manifolds, and should still have AIR, like JBA's. Too bad they are $400. I have a 84 with a GM 350HO. Any ideas other than full length are appreciated.

Summit sells block huggers for like $85.
Warning: I had cheap headers on my truck when I bought it - they were awful. I replaced them with exhaust manifolds and it is much nicer.
    Your call.

Yes they do, but they are for hotrods with front motor mounts, they dump down where the motor mounts are now.

Are you sure they will not fit? They are really short and look to be about the size of manifolds. Either way, longer smaller-primary headers are better for trucks.
