Yes I did search before posting this question.
What is involved in swapping a th350 that was mated to a np203 in for one that is mated to a np208? Can I just swap it in with the proper factory 350-208 stock adapter that i all ready have or is the th350 output shaft length different ???
    Thanks in advance

    Did 208's come behind 350's? I don't know.
But we both know the output shaft on a 700r is alot longger than a 350/205 or a 203.
I wish I could help you more....

you have to swap the output shaft from a th350 that when to a 208 and then use the 350/208 adaptor. i've done this, not hard but you do take the pump and all the innerds out of the trannie to do it. i had a dead th350 mated to a 208 the th350 had the lock up converter too, which i didn't like. i also had a 2wd th350 that was good so i swapped output shafts and put er all back together. worked great. its nice to have a t case you can hold in one hand and thread bolts with the other. try that with a 203!
